Moulded PTFE rods/tubes has the lowest coefficient of friction of all kinds solid materials. It has the best electrical properties of all plastics.

Owing to its low friction, PTFE sheet is used for applications where sliding action of parts is needed such as plain bearings, slide plates, etc.
